Montreal, Quebec SONIC CHOREOGRAPHY – SUNDAY MAY 29th– FREE ! – On Sunday May 29th, from 3:30 to 4 PM, the multidisciplinary artist and Choeur Maha founder, Kathy Kennedy, will premier an outdoor sonic choreography in Jeanne Mance Park that will be open to the broader Montreal community. This is a unique experience where CKUT-FM will broadcast the accompanying soundtrack which guides listeners through a spectacular musical journey.
Bring your own portable radio for best results. The rest is a surprise! Kennedy’s large scale sonic installations for up to 100 singers and radio, called "sonic choreographies," have been performed internationally including the inauguration of the Vancouver New Public Library and at the Lincoln Center's Out of Doors Series.
